Shoe Review: Salewa Ultra Train GTX

There is something about testing waterproof running shoes that I just love. I think it’s that whole will it actually keep my foot drive as I dunk it in water and take it out in the harshest conditions mentality. Pushing the shoes beyond its limits to see if I can if it will really live up to its hype is what I live for. There is also part of me that loves testing out a new brand and in this case we have the best of both worlds, the Salewa Ultra Train GTX. This is the first review we’ve done of a Salewa shoe on the site and we are excited to see what was in store for us. So off onto the muddy trails we go!

Shoe Review: HOKA ONE ONE Challenger ATR 3

The Challenger ATR 2 came out and it was okay, but some of the updates they made especially around the narrowing of the toebox turned my head in other directions. With the release of the ATR 3, I was excited to see if the magic had returned and I was not disappointed with the results.

Shoe Review: Brooks Launch 4

Flagship shoes are those models that every big manufacturer has gotten behind for years. The model numbers in some cases range up into the teens as they have released so many versions of it and Brooks is a great example of this. Most folks that know the brand have seen the names Glycerin, Adrenaline, Ghost, etc for quite a while. A few years ago however, they added something new to the lineup which has become a staple model in their neutral road shoe lineup. I am talking of course about the Launch. I am not sure any other shoe from Brooks gets as much press when a new model releases and this years of launch of the 4 has been no different.
