Have you ever found that one piece of apparel that just works perfectly and you look forward to wearing every time? If so, then this review will be right up your alley. Apparel Review: Brooks Seattle Shell and Tights

In our ongoing hunt for running apparel for winter, I wanted to talk about Brooks and their Seattle line. While they may look innocent enough, they pack a lot of tech in a super light package.

Review: Brooks LSD Lite Jacket IV

The Brooks LSD Lite Jacket IV was really one of the nicest pieces I have worn while running in quite a while. Now that may sound like high-praise, but as an ultra lightweight water and wind-resistant jacket you would be hard pressed to find a better performer. Did I mention that it’s got several color options including high-viz and a stowable hood as well? Nice.

Review: New Balance Ultra Hooded Jacket

New Balances’s new Ultra Hooded Jacket is really designed to stand up to the weather and this means all types. Whether it is rain, wind, sleet, or even snow the Ultra really stood its ground for me. Material-wise, its 100% anti-snag nylon and this cuts wind really well and deals with rain pretty effortlessly. This makes it a great option for trail or road and honestly, it looks good enough to wear with jeans.
