Recovery Elements & Performance
The Kane Revive has a number of elements to help with recovery and a lot of it seems like subtle little elements here and there, they all contribute to the overall experiences. First, all the exterior holes as well as the interior channel cut-outs have been modeled to improve airflow and allow your foot to breath better. Second, they have added these little bumps on the footbed Kane refers to as “nodes”. These nodes are designed to stimulate your foot and improve blood flow. Next, they have done a solid job with anatomical design providing solid arch support, a 10mm heel drop, and a decent heel cup. Lastly, they have segmented and added grips to the well-cushioned midsole/outsole which allows for better flexibility while also providing a solid grip.
Construction & Materials
Kane has created a new foam for the Revive, something they call BounceBack. This foam is made of fully renewable non-GMO sugarcane sourced from Brazil. This means they are both vegan and waterproof. Durability on them is spectacular and they also handle color loss and abrasion very well, they almost look as good as the day they came out of the box.

Style and Aesthetics
The Kane Revive are fantastic looking for a recovery shoe. With over 12 different color options that blend different upper and midsoles combinations, you will find something to love. They also include three different color hang loops with each model which seems simple, but honestly gives it a nice bit of extra flair.

Overall Conclusion
Kane has really killed it with the Revive. What started as a Kickstarter has turned into a truly solid option for both recovery and casual wear. Yes, they are totally different, but in such a good way. Whether it is post-run, ride, swim, or it is just a warm day and you want to throw them on with shorts, these things deliver. Can’t wait to see what might be coming next from Kane!
