Shoe Review: Hoka One One ORA Recovery Slide
In the new world of recovery shoes, one of the biggest names in running has come to the table with a super clever spin on your typical slide. It’s the Hoka One One ORA Recovery Slide.
The ORA is crazy light coming in just over 6 ounces, but where it really strikes a tone is in it’s midsole design. It’s literally the same oversized mid and Meta-Rocker from shoes like the Clayton and Clifton which seems crazy, but it really works well. With 6mm of drop, it is the same level of comfort and support you run in carries straight into recovery.
Our only wish is that Hoka broadens their support lineup away from just slides into clogs and other closed toe options. The ORAs are a really solid recovery vehicle. They provide support where its needed and are very easy to just throw into your bag for access whenever needed. They also come in 4 colors so you have plenty of options to choose from.
